MENTAL HEALTH CONSULTATIONS FOR FAMILY ISSUES

" It can't be easy living with a moody, depressed, and angry person, and it's even more challenging to love and support this person when they're deep into their psychosis. I often hear the saying "Who heals the healers?" and I'm grateful to see that great family support groups are starting to help those who help us. My work wife Roxanne is my angel and biggest supporter, and she helps me when it's often too difficult for her to do so."
- Dan Sundahl

On-Demand telephonic or scheduled-video consultations

At Responders 1st Call® and through our family, we see the impact the jobs of First Responders have on their family. We want to help by providing on-demand when needed, access to Behavioral Health clinicians for up to 30-minute consultations which address work-related or personal stressors, and emotional health issues interfering with responsibilities at work or home. Consultations are available for the entire family, including children with consent from a parent or guardian.

Why On-Demand?

Getting help when your emotional health is concerned can be difficult. You may not know where to turn, and some people feel uncomfortable asking for help. Fortunately, with Responders 1st Call®, you and your family get help in private, anytime, or anywhere.

We are here for you when you need help and decide to reach out for support. In-the-moment support is critical to help work through a situation before it escalates. Having someone who understands your situation is critical to relieve the stress and anxiety and give you positive action steps to feel and be better. Also, knowing you have a team dedicated to assisting you in the comfort of your safe place can help the entire family.

Wow, so much stuff...

If you're feeling stressed, depressed, or have severe anxiety, you have good company. Statistics tell us that nearly 20% of adults in the United States experience similar emotional health issues each year and that 30% of First Responders develop emotional health conditions including, but not limited to, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Call to talk about any issue that's causing stress in your life, whether at home or work. In some cases, after having a conversation with one of our clinicians, they may provide guided solutions materials via email and may suggest additional steps and referrals to other resources and professional care.

Help!...when you need it

We are here to connect you and anyone in your immediate family with a licensed behavioral health counselor who can assist with many issues or concerns about emotional health such as anxiety, stress, depression, addictions, or other life/work balance concern. Privacy Matters

When you call to speak with a counselor, your conversation is strictly confidential, and your information will never be shared with your employer. They will not know that you called or any details about what you discuss.
